In a rare filing for a charter school Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy a charter school south of Saint Paul, Minnesota, filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The filing is interesting because it lists no assets at all, not a penny, no furniture, no nothing. The school has a website but no domain name is listed in the assets. This should arise suspicions. Also the corporate resolution authorizing the filing although it mentions several names is only signed by one person. This raises some interesting questions about what is going on. In any event here are the documents:
Docket Report
1 Petition and lists including schedules with no assets do not file one listing nothing with your bankruptcy attorney.
3 Notice of Appearance by the bankruptcy attorney for the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Education.
4 Unanimous resolution only signed by one person make sure you provide one to bankruptcy attorney signed by all directors.
